I was thrilled to FINALLY get Fall Weather.

I Bought a Kindle Touch and was Disappointed.

I joined in with Hey It's Okay for the first time.

I told you all what I missed about Fall.

I had another vent session about people at my job. I seem to have done that alot this year.

I updated my 101 in 1001 list. 

Had fun with WWTK And Birchbox.

I made super yummy Pumpkin Soup!!!

November

I showed you all What was in my Purse.

I had 84 followers and Was thrilled I now have 89 and couldn't be happier! 

I did another Birchbox Vlog.

Apparently it was a bad month at my job, I complained about parents and about general things that bug me. 

I also shared with you all what I was reading in a vlog no less! 

August

This was a busier month for me! I participated in the Annual Blog Bash.  

I vlogged about my books again. 

One of my favorite posts of the year my dream wedding post. 

Shared two of my favorite songs from one of my favorite musicals/movies. 

And I got a new phone. 

September

Was my birthday month! 

It was also 9-11.

Talked about my September birch box.

What did you do? 

Hey It's Okay

So I am at work today and I figured with it being just 2 days until Christmas and 3 days until Christmas day I needed to link up with "It's Okay" So here goes!

It's okay...

To be thrilled that I get 5 days off in a row after I leave work tomorrow. 

To be looking forward to cooking dinner after work today. 

To be considering actually going to Midnight Mass this year, I always say I'll go and then when it's time I don't,

To not be holding my breath on that last one although I do want to go.

To be actually really upset that it is a balmy 78 degrees outside. I WANT SNOW!

To have finished shopping for all but two of the people I get presents for, but those two I won't see until after Christmas so they can wait. 

To be really sick of being broke. 

To not be thrilled with my new hair and have decided to re dye it tomorrow after work. 

To desperately want to give some of the guests at the hotel deodorant and soap, and hold my breath while speaking to them.

To be more excited than I should be for "that time of the month" so I can use my new period tracker app. 

Need A Change

I need a change I have just been feeling so Blah lately I figured that it was time to change something So I am dying my hair. Its been it’s natural dark brown for almost 6 months now, and I’m feeling red, so Hopefully it won’t turn out horrible. I will update with a picture when I am done!

I wish it had turned out a little redder I might have to redo it a few times to get the color I want.

Christmas List pt 2

1. Wrapping paper or gift bags? I really prefer wrapping paper.

2. Real tree or Artificial? Although my tree is fake, I have only ever had one real one and I loved it so much.

3. When do you put up the tree? Thanksgiving or the day after

4. When do you take the tree down?  January 6ish basically the 2nd week in January.

5. Do you like eggnog? Yes

6. Favorite gift received as a child? My paint set and cameras when I was 16

7. Do you have a nativity scene? I do. It was a family one.

8. Hardest person to buy for? My fiancée.

9. Easiest person to buy for? My sister

10. Mail or email Christmas cards? I will never email cards.

11. Worst Christmas gift you ever received? Not sure, going to go with the this piece of paper is good for one guitar that I got from my mother but never got the actual guitar.

12. Favorite Christmas Movie? I really love White Christmas and Miracle on 34th Street, and Once and Twice Upon A Christmas, and Borrowed Hearts.

13. When do you start shopping for Christmas? I always mean to start early but I usually don't. In fact I haven't started this year yet.

14. Ever recycled a Christmas present? Yep

15. Favorite thing to eat at Christmas? Christmas Eve dinner and Christmas Day dinner!
16. Clear lights or colored on the tree? I love colored but we have clear right now.

17. Favorite Christmas song? I love all Christmas music.

18. Travel at Christmas or stay home? depends on where I am.
19. Can you name all of Santa's reindeer? Yup, Dasher, Dancer, Prancer, Vixen, Comet, Cupid, Donder, and Blitzen.

21. Open the presents Christmas Eve or morning?
Christmas morning

22. Most annoying thing about this time of year? People PCing and making it very commercial, its supposed to be magical.
23. favorite ornament, theme, or color? I have no theme.

24. What do you want for Christmas this year? I would love a Kindle Touch, or a juicer, or some books.

I participated in The My Favorite Things Swap, my partner was amazing and you should all go follow her if you don’t already! 

I either was very brave or lost my mind but I posted my actual weight online.

I did a Vlog for The monthly vlog.

I showed all the places I’ve been:

I was angry about a comment made about my weight.

My brother got a girlfriend, although it sadly didn’t last.

I participated in WWTKW.

and I fried my computer.

June

I shared 15 things about me.

I explained where Confessions Of A College Angel came from.

and I shared my favorite Super hero's both traditional and non.

Girl's Night

SO I had a girls night, I don’t get to see M and Eri as much as I’d like, especially together.  So when M and I went to see Twilight and realised we weren’t tired after the movie we called Eri and all went over to my house for some wine and cheese and lots of talking. No one left until after 5 am.

This was our damage after the night.

and of course tipsy pictures! The order is Me, M and Eri.

1. Egg Nog or Hot Chocolate?
Both, I love some Egg Nog, but I definitely LOVE me some hot coco too!

2. Does Santa wrap presents or just sit them under the tree?
Santa’s gifts were always in a different wrapping paper with fancy tags that had pretty cursive writing on them

3. Colored lights on tree/house or white?
White lights on the tree and colored on the house, although with the house we’re in now we don’t have outside plugs so no outside lights

4. Do you hang mistletoe?

If I had someone to kiss I would, but I’ve never been in a house on Christmas with a kissing person.

5. When do you put your decorations up?
The day after Thanksgiving.

6. What is your favorite holiday dish?
I make a lasagna for Christmas Eve dinner, it’s a tradition from my Nana.

7. Favorite Holiday memory as a child?

My Grandmother and Papa used to watch White Christmas with me every Christmas Eve. I would dance around the house with my Papa and then we would make Lasagna with my Nana and sing along to Frank Sinatra and other great Christmas albums

8. When and how did you learn the truth about Santa?
I learned the truth when I was around 11 years old, (I know, but I was stubborn and wanted to believe, I still kinda do, not that he gives toys, but the general holiday everyone is Santa kind of thing.) I saw my dad put the “Santa” presents under the tree.

9. Do you open a gift on Christmas Eve?
No, and I never understood that tradition.

10. How do you decorate your Christmas tree?

I use lots of old family ornaments, and every year my dad gets me one for my ‘hope chest’ so I will have my own stash for when I move out/ get married.

11. Snow! Love it or dread it?

LOVE IT. I pray for it, beg for it, bargain for it, but never get it on Christmas. I grew up in NY and OH so I was used to snow but since moving to sunny SC I’ve not had it on Christmas.

12. Can you ice skate?

Yes, although its been so long that I will probably look like I can’t.

13. Do you remember your favorite gift?

No... I know I loved everything but I can’t remember a specific present.

14. What’s the most important thing about the Holidays for you?
Spending time with people I love and want to be with.

15. What is your favorite Holiday Dessert?

Christmas Cookies, especially the ones, my Grandma on my dad’s side used to make, Sour Cream Cookies…

16. What is your favorite holiday tradition?
Just sitting around the tree Christmas morning, and spending time together Christmas eve.

17. What tops your tree?
An Angel. but I’d love a little Tardis for the top!

18. Which do you prefer giving or receiving?
I prefer giving. but I always to go overboard, and give things to EVERYONE.

19. Candy Canes: Yuck or Yum? 
Yum, One of my favorite things about Christmas

20. Favorite Christmas show?
I don’t have a show, but Movie wise, Borrowed Hearts, White Christmas, Several versions of A Christmas Carol, and the Muppets Christmas Carol.

21. Saddest Christmas Song?
I'll Be Home for Christmas, especially the versions where they have the people talking in clips, it makes me cry.

22. What is your favorite Christmas song?
Santa Baby, Baby it’s cold outside, White Christmas, anything off a Mariah Carey CD.

2011 Review Extravaganza Part 1

Okay I had so much fun doing this last year that I figured I would again this year. First off I want to say I was a horrible blogger this year, not very active at all… I will do my best to fix that next year!

 

January

I was still on the hunt for a car,

I started a photo blog,

 

I had an emotional breakdown about my mother and our relationship, or lack there of

I realized because of the breakdown that the blog world is very nice, and that the people you meet and make friends with can make you feel amazing when you feel really blue.

Joined the pinktastic swap

It snowed here, and my puppy played in it!

I did my very first ever vlog and was terrified!

I GOT A CAR!!! and shared my I’d sleep with list.

I talked about southern belles.

February

I shared a song that still makes me giggle

T had a baby!!

Tori Story was born and is adorable!

Got my box for the Pinktastic swap and made a new friend!

M and I went to Boots n Bikinis

I answered some Questions about Kensei’s and my relationship from my ask me anything questions.

I gave up sugar for  Lent
